KYND was created to offer dogs a calm, gentle grooming experience in a quiet, one-on-one space.
Even with regular grooming, many dogs can find the process unfamiliar, which is why KYND takes a gentle, unhurried approach and allows each dog to move through their appointment at their own pace. At KYND, comfort always comes first, which often means choosing practical, easy-to-maintain haircut lengths that keep dogs feeling light, comfortable and happy between appointments.
KYND has been intentionally designed with soft blue and yellow tones—colours dogs can naturally see—to create a soothing and welcoming environment from the moment they arrive.

FAQ’s
As KYND is a home salon in a residential area, here are a few things to know about arriving and collecting your dog.

When you arrive, you’ll see a sign and doorbell on the gate behind the letterboxes. Please press the doorbell so I know you’re here and can safely bring your dog inside.

No — please don’t drive into the driveway. It’s a shared driveway, so for safety and courtesy, please park on the street and walk your dog on a lead to the gate.

I will text you approximately 15–30 minutes before your dog’s groom is complete. This ensures you can arrive promptly, your dog isn’t waiting unnecessarily and the calm, structured environment I maintain for every dog is maintained.

Each dog receives my full, uninterrupted attention and prompt pick-up is required to maintain this level of care. If you are running late, you must notify me by text immediately. Repeated lateness or failure to communicate will result in future bookings being refused.

After a decade-long career in midwifery, I moved into dog grooming, with a focus on calm, gentle handling guided by strong personal values around kindness and animal welfare.
KYND is my way of combining award-winning experience with softness to make grooming feel kind and comfortable for every dog.
